Versa Shield Replacement Panels for Storm Door Screens
As an answer to home owner requests for tougher screens in their storm and screen door assemblies, Exeter Architectural Products offers the Versa Shield Replacement Panel to enhance the security of the door openings and prevent screen damage from vandalism or large pets.
The Versa Shield Replacement Panel can be easily installed in an existing storm or screen door that has a pocket or track made to accept a square edged, framed screen with a thickness of 5/16 th of an inch. The same fastening system that secures the standard screen will secure the Versa Shield Replacement Panel of the same width and height.
The Versa Shield Replacement Panel can also be easily installed in some of the popular storm and screen door assemblies sold at DIY Home Centers. For example, the Versa Shield Replacement Panel fits perfectly into the Andersen 2000 Series door, the Larson Signature Series door, and the Pella Select Series door; other new storm and screen door products that accept a square edged, framed screen with a thickness up to 5/16 th of an inch can also be retrofit with the Versa Shield Replacement Panel. The plastic snap-in perimeter fastening strips that are furnished standard with the above-mentioned doors does well in securing the vandal resistant Versa Shield Replacement Panel.
The Versa Shield Replacement Panel for Storm Door Screens can also be furnished with optional fiberglass mesh insect screen installed tightly against the inside of the perforated panel membrane.

The Versa Shield Replacement Panel can be easily installed in an existing window assembly that has a pocket or track made to accept a square edged, framed screen with a thickness of 5/16 th of an inch. The Versa Shield Replacement Panel is furnished in the same width and height as the original screen and includes small fastening angles to secure the panel at the top and bottom of the window assembly.
The Versa Shield Replacement Panel for Window Screens can also be furnished with optional fiberglass mesh insect screen installed tightly against the inside of the perforated panel membrane.
