First as security screens, (Security Shield Window Barriers), and then as hurricane shutters, (Storm Shield Window Barriers). Exeter products offer users year round “see thru” protection.

Exeter's patented design was awarded a silver medal by the Industrial Design Society of America & Business Week magazine for being one of “The Best New Products In America, 1992.” The strong “see thru” barrier with emergency egress capabilities became the product of choice among colleges, universities, inner-city schools, and housing authorities.
